AYIM is a DJ and producer from Amsterdam, recognised for her hypnotic fusion of psy, techno, trance and rich atmospheric textures. With a background in piano composition from a young age, a deep interest in nature, and an active role in the underground music scene, she has developed a distinctive voice that blends raw intensity with depth and introspective energy. Her sound is characterised by deep basslines, driving rhythms and immersive sonic landscapes.
As co-founder ofKØLT, she plays an active role in the underground community, creating spaces where genres blend. After playing at Säule Berghain (Berlin) and performing at MoDem Festival (Croatia) and Bassiani Horoom (Georgia), AYIM is steadily making her mark on dance floors across the international underground scene.

At the heart of her work lies an exploration of rhythm as a universal force: connecting people with each other, with nature and with themselves. Drawing inspiration from patterns found in the natural world as well as the collective energy of the underground rave, her music invites listeners to immerse themselves in a trance-like flow. Beyond the dance floor, AYIM explores the relationship between natural rhythms, electronic sound and visuals through artistic experiments, including projects that translate the bio-rhythms of trees into ambient music.
